If by great you mean horrible...when the Android/HTC equivalent were already doing over 8mp resolution and 720p HD video.

My sister had an iPhone and has nothing but problems.

I like my MyTouch (could they be more obvious?), but people love the iPhone.

And I love Macs and their software. Heads and tails above PCs IMO.

PCs are only decent if you know how to shut off the hundreds of background programs that are running on the fucking thing when you take it out of the box. Macs are good for idiots... and I mean that as a positive.

Very user friendly. These days you take them out of the box and they're pretty much ready to go.

Who the fuck hates the iPhone? The only people that buy Android devices are folks who want to be a rebel sticking it to conformity (by buying a product from another multi-billion dollar corporation) and those whose carriers don't have an agreement with Apple.

Exactly. I will never, ever buy another PC for the above reason. Once you get used to some of the subtle difference between Windows and Mac OS (which takes a couple of days or so) you'll never look back.

From unboxing my Macbook to full usage was about 5 minutes.

I used a mac, cause my wife wanted one to replace her toshiba possibly...fuck that! I hated it, the OS was annoying and frankly I couldnt get paid to trade off to apple from a PC. I can get laptops that will run a SHIT load more intense programs than pretty much most macs, I can build a desktop for heavy graphic computing that would take a mac a month to do (I do heavy graphics editing from time to time). And none of my gaming software runs on them.

As knutty said, its the computer to have if you're computer illiterate.

The iphone is a complete pile of shit...I buy for an all round media device, and use the camera and video a lot for day to day shit at work and such. Iphones camera sucks, Itunes is fucking rubbish, the apps iphone has android has pretty much similar shit but runs a hell of a lot fast without the glitches.

The only people buying iphones are social sheeps that buy into marketing and hype.

I watched a 30 minute documentary on him last night. Evidently he didnt have many friends. He had people who needed him and people who were scared of him.

It also reinforced what that article said, Jobs never gave a single solitary cent to charity and forbid Apple from doing the same. (Gates has given tens of billions.)

Anyway - aside from the no charity thing and the sweatshop stuff - the rest isn't all that atypical. Actually he sweatshop stuff isn't atypical for big corporations - but it's not acceptable. As to the charity thing - he may well just not publicize his charitable giving. Sinatra donated hundreds of millions to charity under the radar over the years. Or maybe it's in the will. If not either - then yeah - that sucks.
